Catherine lives with her father, a professor who is a legend at the University of Chicago, but who has become sick in recent years. She is beginning to consider that whilst she might share her father’s brilliance, she might also have inherited the same illness. Then her bossy sister Claire returns home to help “settle” the family’s affairs, and Hal – one of her father’s old students -starts to poke around the house…
