What is the 100 Club?
The 100 Club is a fun way to raise money for CoPs and also have the chance to win cash prizes.
Why do we need the 100 Club?
You may think that by coming along and watching or helping with the productions, you're doing enough to support CoPs. Quite frankly you'd be right. Without the support and goodwill of people like you , CoPs would cease to exist.
However, we're asking if you could possibly support us a little more than you already do. Whilst the income from the productions and membership subscriptions leaves us with a small surplus at the end of each season this is not enough for all of the improvements that we need to make to the theatre.
How does it work?
Entries for the 100 club cost £25 a year, payable by standing order in July. During each year there will be 5 draws and £5 will go to each draw. Half of the proceeds of each draw will be shared out as prizes and the other half will be transferred to CoPs as shown below. There is no limit to the number of entries you can purchase.
Who can buy entries?
Entries can only be bought by CoPs members who are over 16 years of age.
Fifty percent of the proceeds of each draw will be distributed as prizes allocated as follows:
- 1st prize = 25%
- 2nd prize = 15%
- 2 x 3rd prize = 5%
If we sell 40 entries a year then there will be 5 first prizes of £50 a year.
If we sell 100 entries a year then there will be 5 first prizes of £125 a year.
How do I join?
You can join the 100 club at any time by simply completing the form and attached standing order. In order to reduce the administrative burden you must pay by standing order each July. If you wish to join during the year you can complete a standing order for the following July and buy entries for the remaining draws by cheque or electronic transfer. If you wish to do this please contact the organiser or any member of the Management Committee.
