CoPs 100 Club

What is the 100 Club?

The 100 Club Lottery is an easy way to have a chance at great prizes while raising money for CoPs – it’s a win-win! It’s open to everyone and entries can even be bought as gifts.

How does it work?

Each entry to the 100 Club costs £25 a year, payable by regular standing order or one-off bank transfer. You can buy as many entries as you like, and there’s no limit to the total number of entries – the more people involved, the bigger the prizes! There are 5 draws in a year and £5 from each entry goes into each draw. Half the proceeds of each draw is shared out as prizes and the other half goes to CoPs’ Theatre Development Fund to support the future of the theatre building and its facilities, currently providing vital match funding to grant applications for our planned extension.

Who can buy entries?

Anyone over the age of 16. You don’t have to be a CoPs member to join and can purchase entries on behalf of others (as long as you have their permission and they are also over 16).

What could I win?

50% of the proceeds of each draw will be distributed as prizes, allocated as follows:

  • 1st prize = 25%
  • 2nd prize = 15%
  • 2 x 3rd prize = 5%

With 100 entries a year, there are five first prizes of £125 – with 200 entries a year, each first prize is £250! The more entries there are, the more money you might win.

How do I join?

You can join the 100 Club, or purchase additional entries, at any time by simply setting up a payment to the dedicated 100 Club account:

The Company of Players (Hertford)

20-05-73

10240540

using the name of the entrant as a reference in the format 100-Name-Initials. If there’s no current CoPs membership in that name, you’ll also need to send a message to treasurer@cops.org.uk to give an email address for the entry (we’ll only use this email address in relation to the 100 Club). A recurring payment can be at any frequency – each entry will be counted against the next five draws at the time it’s received.
