There are some productions you’ll never forget. The anticipation as the lights dim, the hushed silence in the audience, and everyone experiencing the magic unfolding on the stage. And, afterwards, the discussions with friends, remembering the images and the story-telling.

CoPs has been creating these unforgettable moments for over sixty years in Hertford, and you now have an opportunity to help shape the future of our theatre and create more memories for generations to come.

We’re about to embark on an exciting journey; to enlarge and upgrade the front of house and backstage areas to make them a safer and more pleasant environment to be in. We have the planning permission, and now we need the money to fund it. And that is where you come in!

By including CoPs in your will, you can share with future generations the joy of live theatre, experienced up close. Every gift, no matter the size, will:

• Support the creation of first-class productions in our intimate auditorium
• Enable us to ensure that accessibility to the theatre for people of all physical abilities is possible and comfortable
• Support the re-establishment of the CoPs Youth Group, to provide theatrical education to anyone, and continuity in the process of staffing productions in the future
• Engage both young and older people in the stimulating world of live theatre, both on and back stage, and front of house, by providing an excellent environment for creative expression and social interaction
• Enable the Charitable Incorporated Organisation to maintain its policy of continuous improvement to the building and facilities, for the benefit of all its users

You don’t need to tell us if you choose to include us in your will, but if you do, we can ensure we keep you informed of our work, and our progress in achieving our improvement goals. All financial contributors to CoPs will, if they wish, be recognised by name on a permanent record displayed in the theatre foyer, and on the website.
