This play was set in a carptenter's shop in Bethlehem ....


This was the first appearance in Hertford of the newly formed Company of Players. This play was presented at the Christ Church in Bengeo, on Christmas Eve.  In all three performacnes were given, furthest afield being at Ridge, near Barnet, where the vicar was the Rev. F . Ferguson, father of Robert Ferguson, then chairman of COPS. The other performance was in Hertford Heath.
